Nelson Creek We thought the camp site at Nelson Creek would be a good spot for a couple of days exploring the surrounding area, which it was but we had no idea what an interesting place it is with a great camp site and walks.
When we left the camp at Nelson Creek (see post) the morning was misty with low cloud and drizzle.
LAKE SUMNER – Off the Beaten Track to… Lake Sumner Lake Sumner is in the Lake Sumner Forest Park as are other lakes such as Loch Katrine and Lake Taylor.

We always like to get to the end of roads, wherever we are. So on a recent trip to Blenheim we headed down the road on the north side of the Wairau river.
We picked an absolutely stunning day to visit Invercargill and Bluff.
The 2018 Cavalcade – Something a bit different, I hope you enjoy seeing the photos and maybe go and see the 2019 cavalcade where the destination is Hawea. It’s a spectacular sight and great day out!!
